The STEELTECH bobbin holder from stonfo is made entirely of stainless steel and has an extremely robust and ergonomic design. Due to its comparatively high weight of 35 grams, this bobbin holder keeps the tension of the tying thread very well, even if it only hangs down on your fly pattern during tying. This means that the already tied materials remain perfectly in place even during a break in tying.
The central shaft ensures that the thread spool runs stably, while the adjustment knobs on both sides allow the thread tension to be set individually and perfectly. The bush of the thread tube is made of hardened steel, which is extremely wear-resistant and durable even to modern binding threads. The material is also impact-resistant and therefore remains undamaged should the bobbin holder accidentally slip out of your hand. The wide and flattened base of the thread tube makes the bobbin holder very easy to hold and guide. It is also perfectly balanced, making it ideal for twisting dubbing.
